New collation shrink film with 30% post-consumer recyclateShrink film with 30% post-consumer recyclate content (Photo: RPC)Packaging films producer RPC bpi protect (Bromborough / UK; www.bpi-protec.com) has introduced ?X-EnviroShrink?, a collation shrink film that contains 30% post-consumer recyclate and is itself 100% recyclable. According to the company, the new product adheres to the latest UK government proposals for plastic packaging.

X-EnviroShrink, which is produced using the in-house recycled polymer ?Sustane?, is available in plain and printed versions for various products from beverage cans and bottles to canned food and cartons. In addition, the collation shrink film is suitable for high-speed packaging methods that support cost-effectiveness and speed-to-market.
